The Intimacy Experiment is a powerful and fun in-person retreat where you can practice intimacy and closeness in a safer environment. You can come as an individual, or with a partner/partners, or even a friend. Our experienced leaders take you through a gradual flow of lower risk to higher risk communication where you will experience and practice

Note: This is not a clothing-optional retreat. All activities are optional, and you can choose your level of risk in sharing with the group.
About your retreat leader:
Dr. Rosalyn Dischiavo, MA, CSE, CSES, is a renowned public speaker, author and Founder of Institute for Sex Education & Enlightenment. She is a former President of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (2022-2024). Roz is one of our most beloved teachers, with students regularly reporting a feeling of welcome, of safety, and of transformative experiences from her classes. She has led workshops and retreats for over 30 years.
Matt Gingerich, Assistant Instructor
Matthew is a graduate of ISEE's Sacred Sexuality Instructor Training and Shalom Mountain's Training in the Art of Loving programs. He has also completed courses in DEIA, Joe Weston's Respectful Confrontation, Amelia Perkins Inner Marriage and Dance Meets Tantra. For 7 years Matthew has been building and participating in intentional communities related to personal growth, men's groups, exploration of Eros, and couple's intimacy.

Sacred Sexuality Instructor Training (SSIT Program)

Want to enhance your leadership skills significantly while learning more about sacred sexuality? Come journey with us in a Master Class for just this purpose.
The SSIT program is for individuals who are seriously interested in teaching about sexuality and spirituality, or current teachers of sex and spirit. This training will delve deeply into the mind/body/spirit split, elucidating the ways we can begin to help people to heal.
You will learn about your own splits, about the history of the issuea, and many current methods and techniques that teachers are using to bring these pieces of ourselves back together. You will also learn invaluable training skills that you can use for any instruction experience.

SSIT Retreat Only
This option is available for people who only want to attend the retreat portion of the SSIT program. Please contact us to see if this is a good fit for you. All ISEE certificate program students and alumni are eligible for this option.
The retreat is a 5-day experience of activities, exercises, and practicing of your skills. Each participant will have the opportunity to offer a piece, and to have feedback for their offering. Instructors will offer the main content.
Day One:
Intros, Community agreements, Goals, Logistics, Land Acknowledgment and Daily guided meditation, Sacred Sex Concept Artwork Activity, Skills for Creating a Container, Boundaries activities, Working with Touch; Intro to Tantra
Day Two:
Guided meditation, Elemental Attunement Skills, The Deep Yes receiving Skills activities, Ecosexuality and the natural world (field trip/outdoor activity); Yin, Yang, Tapas & Spanda
Day Three:
Guided meditation, Trust Vs. Risk activities, Boundaries Activities Creation Skills, Touch Activities Creation Skills, The Wheel of Consent lecture and activities, authentic movement
Day Four:
Guided meditation, skills for working with trauma reactions, intersectionality in motion: working with diverse populations, inviting and representing race, gender, orientation, age and ability groups; student led activities, modified Latihan
Day Five:
Guided meditation; ego & humility discussion, skills, resources and considerations for using music, the use of metaphor with clients or students, self-care, troubleshooting; the use of ritual in sacred sexuality, closing the circle
