What comes to mind when you think about BDSM and/or kink? What mental images appear? The answers to those questions can vary wildly, depending on who you ask. For some, BDSM is a staple of their sex lives and erotic imagination. Others yet might be curious, but hesitant to ask. Others still may be repulsed, or wonder who in their right mind would engage in such things. In this workshop, we break down the nuts and bolts of BDSM play, dispel common misconceptions, and gives an overview of kinky communities.

• By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
• Name 2 common misconceptions about kink and BDSM
• Identify 3 consent models
• Define at least three BDSM terms, such as D/s, 24/7 power exchange, play party, aftercare, munch, etc.
• Identify at least 1 intersectional issue in BDSM communities
