Public Oct 11: Dance,Dance Evolution:Advanced Intimacy Activities for Partners Creating New Routines

YOU MUST CHECK THE BOX "SUBSCRIBE TO OUR EMAIL LIST" WHEN CHECKING OUT TO RECEIVE EMAILS ABOUT THIS CLASS

When: October 11, 2023

Time: 7:00 PM-8:30 PM ET

This class is limited to 15 couples. (Price is per couple)

This interactive 90-minute workshop is open to all, but works best for people who have taken “This is My Dance Space” and “So You Think You Can Dance.”

In this last “dance as a relationship metaphor” class, you will be guided with skills and activities learned in previous classes and offered a chance to uncover deeper patterns in relationships as well as methods for transforming ingrained dynamics. Whatever you have been struggling with, talking often makes it worse. Creating a metaphoric space that you can use is deeply transformational in ways that will surprise you.

You will be guided to discover embodied ways to address core concerns in your interactions, and then shown how to continue to work with them in their natural evolution. Activities are not explicitly sexual. They include Rope Bolero (no bondage is involved), Lean On Me, and Find Your Dance.

  • No activities include actual dance, and they are accessible for almost all abilities.
  • All exercises are optional, adaptable for later sexual intimacy.
  • Breakouts are private between couples.
  • Materials are offered as handouts so that you can continue to practice what you found helpful when the workshop is done.
