What is love? What is love in the context of sex, what is sex in the context of love? What does “falling in love” feel like? Is it the same for everyone? What are the purposes of romantic love? How do love, passion and commitment become confused? In this class, we will explore theories of love, including diving into a duplex theory of love including Sternberg’s triangle and love as a story that we live out. We will explore our own ideas and assumptions about love, as well, delving into love’s complexities as well as its joys.
