Course Description
Effective Use of Sexually Explicit Material in Sex Therapy" focuses on the therapeutic benefits and ethical considerations of incorporating pornography into sex therapy. 

This class provides mental health professionals with the knowledge and tools to use sexually explicit material to enhance therapeutic outcomes effectively. 

Topics include understanding the different types of pornography, selecting appropriate material for therapy, addressing client concerns and misconceptions, and navigating potential ethical dilemmas. 

The course will also explore how pornography can be used to address specific therapeutic goals such as improving sexual communication, exploring fantasies, and reducing anxiety around sexual performance.

Through case studies, role-playing, and discussions, participants will gain practical skills and insights to integrate pornography into their therapeutic practice in a respectful and constructive manner.

Goal 1. Participants will gain understanding and skills around Ethical Consumption of Sexually Explicit Media (SEM) and Advocacy.

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

• Discuss the social and ethical implications of pornography, emphasizing the importance of supporting ethical production practices that prioritize consent, fair labor practices, and diversity. 
• Identify ways to advocate for these standards within the industry and among consumers.
