Class description: This class will provide an introduction to sensory processing and why it's important to consider sensory processing differences and challenges when discussing human sexuality. Understanding sensory processing is particularly important when working with Autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent individuals . This class will address definitions and language, best practices, challenges and some basic strategies for sex education and therapy. This class is taught by an Autistic instructor, giving participants a unique look into sensory processing and sexuality from the inside in a non-pathologized manner.

Instructor: Jack Duroc-Danner (they/them he/him) is a trans queer Autistic AASECT certified sexuality educator. They have been working as a sexuality educator and autism advocate for seven years. Jack works with therapists as well as other professionals, parents/caregivers and Autistic individuals on how to support Autistic individuals by providing consultations (one-on-one as well as group consultation), resources, and educational workshops on the intersection of human sexuality and autism.
